Rabbinic In-Service Training
For the more than 17 years Rabbinic In-Service Training (RIST) has worked to ensure that rabbis, when dealing with the practical needs of their congregations and the multi-dimensional demands of their work, have the opportunity to develop themselves and their skills.
Spiritual
To provide the meaning and purpose of Jewish and rabbinic life
Academic
To give the foundation of Jewish life, learning and teaching
Personal
To ensure sufficient time and space for the rabbi's personal life
Managerial
To learn how to work with committees, councils and create structures in the synagogue, in order to achieve good relationships and effective administration
Practical
To obtain the skills necessary to meet people's needs, such as communication, pastoral, liturgical and technical skills
