Jo-Ann Myers is the Head of the Department of Jewish Education at LBC. She has a B.Ed from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem and an MA in Religious Education through LBC and the Institute of Education, London University. Jo-Ann is responsible for the Advanced Diploma in Jewish Education, the Self-Assessment and Mentoring Programmes. She also provides Hebrew consultancy for Religion School Head Teachers and Directors of Education. She gives regular In Service Training for Hebrew teachers in different communities and creates many Hebrew materials and programmes. She also works with the Hebrew teachers and Head Teachers of the three Progressive Primary Schools and is currently leading the process of creating a Hebrew Curriculum for these primary schools. Jo-Ann is also a Modern Hebrew lecturer for second and third year BA and Jewish Studies students at Leo Baeck College and is a member of the LBC faculty.
