By leaving a gift to Leo Baeck College in your will, you will ensure that future generations benefit from Progressive rabbis and teachers.

The College is privately funded so we can only support the community with our full range of services through the generosity of forward-thinking people like yourself. Your legacy can fund the professional training only available at the College so that Progressive rabbis and teachers can continue providing religious, moral and spiritual leadership for the 21st century.

There are several ways in which you can leave a gift to Leo Baeck College but the three most common are:

1. Pecuniary Legacy
This is a specified sum of money, decided when your will or codicil is written.

2. Residuary Legacy
This is the remainder of your (money) estate left as a gift after bequests and specific legacies have been distributed and all debts cleared.

3. Specific
This is when assets such as shares or antiques are left as a legacy.

We understand that it may be important for you to discuss what recognition of your legacy is appropriate, perhaps to perpetuate the name and memory of a loved one.

How to leave your legacy

If you have already made a Will and would like to add to or amend it, you can simply add a codicil which states your inteneded legacy. Always remember to include the College's full name and Registered Charity Number 209777.
Download a codicil form from here

In any event, we recommend that you consult a solicitor whenever you want to make changes or a codicil to your Will. We can asssist you with your legal arrangements.
