We have now completed two academic years of the Lehrhaus Adult Jewish learning programme. Over the two years we have offered over 16 different courses taught by our experienced faculty. The courses included study in Bible, Talmud, philosophy, Biblical Hebrew, Midrash, sacred music, Jews and art, and others. These courses attracted approximately 120 participants. Building on this success we are currently designing the programme for 2016-17 – an exciting addition to our programme will be on-line learning opportunities so that more people can study with us.
Here are some of the testimonials from this year's students:
"I enjoyed the whole module. It was beautifully taught".
"More of the same please".
"Very enjoyable and very well taught".
"This was a hugely well thought out and illustrated module. We all participated and the teacher was inspirational".
"Learning from a great teacher – new insights and understandings of familiar texts. Also, studying with a variety of people, some I have studied with before and some not".
"Excellent clear teaching and being in a really small group".
