Judith Levitt was ordained a rabbi through the Leo Baeck College in 2009. She took an unconventional path to the rabbinate and learnt a tremendous amount from her time at the college. Judith grew up in London and was a member of Finchley Reform Synagogue, involved with RSY Netzer and Reform Students and many social action campaigns. She has previously lived in Canada where she taught non-denominational Jewish education to children and adults. Writing and painting keep her (mostly) sane and she enjoys bringing creativity into her rabbinic life. In her art she frequently (and abstractly) explores Jewish themes and has recently exhibited. Judith currently works for the Leo Baeck College, the Liberal Jewish Synagogue and Liberal Judaism. |
