Opening Hours

Monday-Thursday 9.30 am - 5.00 pm
Fridays 9.30 am - 1.00 pm

The library is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, on Jewish Festivals, bank holidays and during the last week of December. During July and August, visits can be made only by appointment with the librarian.

Membership:


The library is open to Leo Baeck College staff and students, and to members of the library. Annual membership fee is £30.

 

Application for membership should be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a member of an academic institution or leader of a religious community.

 Borrowing:

 

Three books at the time may be borrowed for a period of three weeks. During the 4th week you will be sent a reminder. If the book(s) is(are) not returned or renewed in that week, you will incur a fine of £1 per week or part of the week.

Internet Borrowing:

 

Books can be ordered via phone and sent by Parcel Force. Membership fee for this service is £100 for individuals, for which up to 5 books can be borrowed. [Rare Books and Books on loan are excluded from this service.]
Application for Internet membership should be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from a member of an academic institution or leader of a religious community.
For institutions special arrangements will be made.
